A hydrogen station for a European center dedicated to low-carbon mobility

HRS will install an HRS14 station near the Albility Lab training workshop in 2025. This station, designed for educational purposes, will train operators in refueling various vehicles in real conditions (heavy goods vehicles and light vehicles). HRS will also support the development of a training plan for this project.

H2: About Albility Lab

The "Albility Lab" project, led by the city of Albi and the Albigeois urban community, is a European center dedicated to low-carbon mobility, particularly hydrogen. This project aims to promote the hydrogen sector and train its various stakeholders through a training workshop designed to carry out various practical applications. Albility draws on local skills and strategic infrastructure held by the City of Albi, structuring its development around three main axes:

  • Testing low-carbon vehicles: using the car circuit and the airfield track to test vehicles, supported by a small-capacity hydrogen distribution station.
  • Technical expertise: with the promotion of a cluster of cutting-edge skills and a rich and dynamic academic ecosystem.
  • Specialized training: developing the skills needed for the hydrogen sector and low-carbon mobility, in partnership with the H2 Albi Campus and the Albility Lab training workshop, currently under construction.

Construction of the Albility lab began in the fall of 2024 and will be completed in the summer of 2025.

The Agglomeration is acquiring the equipment that will form the Atelier’s educational platform:

  • a private H2 station,
  • an electric charging station for hydrogen and electric vehicle batteries,
  • hydrogen vehicles,
  • educational equipment.

These infrastructures and equipment will be made available to Albility users: members of Campus H2 Albi, H2 Team, GENHYO partners, research centers, industrialists, etc.

“We're delighted to be playing our part in promoting hydrogen mobility within this fine Albility Lab project, supported by the city of Albi and the urban community of Albigeois, as well as by various players who have also been working for many years on the properties of hydrogen. I have no doubt that our presence at the heart of this multi-skilled cluster will also enable us to step up our exchanges with other specialists in the sector, and possibly forge future commercial collaborations. Finally, we're proud that HRS is doing its part to help train new players who will be excellent ambassadors for hydrogen mobility in the future.”
