Hydrogen refueling station for a large-scale distribution logistics center in Spain
HRS > Realisations > Hydrogen refueling station on the Charade circuit
HRS supplies a hydrogen station to refuel vehicles, including those retrofitted by GCK Mobility, another subsidiary of the GCK group, on the Charade circuit in Saint-Genès-Champanelle (63).
Founded in 2020, GCK is both an equipment supplier and a designer/manufacturer of vehicles to accelerate the decarbonization of transport. With the very first approval of a vehicle retrofitted with a hydrogen fuel cell, intended for mass production, the group is a pioneer in many areas of sustainable mobility with a very agnostic approach: offering the most suitable technology for each use.
In 2023, GCK Energy placed an order with HRS for a transportable H2 station intended for road tests carried out on the circuit.
The Charade circuit, the last mountain circuit in France, is today recognized as the leading circuit for the mobility of tomorrow.
Since 2021 and the takeover of the circuit by the GCK group, the company has had the ambition to become a leading circuit for the mobility of tomorrow. The installation of the HRS hydrogen station is part of the deployment of renewable energies and the promotion of low-carbon vehicles.
GCK Mobility, a major player specializing in hydrogen retrofitting of heavy vehicles, uses the Charade circuit to test all of their vehicles. While a small capacity station was already in place, we supported our client in the project to develop a more efficient station to meet all their needs and ensure the growth of their business.
With the shared ambition of decarbonizing transport, GCK Energy and HRS are also collaborating in the Paris Region with a station installed for recharging hydrogen coaches and buses.
Easily dismantled and transportable, the station developed by HRS was first installed on a 1st site until H2 2023 then on thissite in H1 2024.
Thanks to its versatility and its distribution pressures at 350 bar and 700 bar, the HRS14 allows our client to carry out its tests on different types of vehicles.
HRS ensured the design, manufacturing, transfer and scheduling of the station installation and supported GCK Energy with the necessary work for the installation of this station in order to meet the site's safety standards.
Versatile, flexible and with proven reliability, the HRS14 station is the best-selling station in our range. This dual-pressure station is compatible with a wide range of applications.
